Oooh, nifty. I'll have to check out the downloadable demo of it, then.
And oh yay . . . severe thunderstorms, strong winds, large hail, and tornados today. Hooray for living on the north Texas plains during springtime! XD I'll probably have some more video clips and/or pics to upload and link y'all to tonight.

It's looking like the bad stuff is supposed to develop this afternoon, along the first half of my 50-mile (85km) route home. Specifically, the worst stuff is to have 70 mph (100+kph) winds and baseball-sized hail. And tornados, too, potentially. I'm going to be keeping an eye on the weather forecasts VERY closely today, the moreso because my office (such as it is) doesn't have a window.

You're not the only one who wants to get FFXII Mel...I want it too!
I also want to get Kingdom Hearts II while I'm at it.

And so the bad stuff did. I was fortunate enough to not have to drive through anything worse than heavy rain and high winds, though a tornado formed about seventeen miles from where I live. And there's a spot, just one spot, about a mile from my house where street signs are blown down and a couple trees are splintered . . . which would coincide with rumors of a brief tornado touchdown near Haslet. And I heard tornado sirens while driving home, and my mom drove through hail . . . no damage to her car, though, and I never wound up seeing a tornado. There was major hail along my secondary route home, though - makes me glad I went the way I usually do, instead.

good thing you didn't get caught up in that Lancer... Talking about tornados, there's a drama tonight called Superstorm, about a tornado...

I feel industrious! Today I did three loads of laundry; disassembled my older sister's vacuum, then put it back together again after clearing out some fouled parts; installed a new cord tip in that same vacuum because the other one got chewed off; assembled a carpet shampooer (which I'm about to go use on my sister's living room carpet); ran a few errands totaling more than a hundred miles in all; unloaded the dishwasher, loaded it with dirty dishes, then unloaded it again; and played with my nephew and Marley. =P Quite a busy day! Though I'm already hurting from it, I think it'll help me to get back to something like a normal level of activity, so it should be a good thing in the long run.

Sounds like you had one hectic day! Busy busy busy... What's with Dec's new user name here? Where did that come from? His obsession with Bleach? When I first saw that user name I thought we had a new member...@_@

The Meandering Moogle on RoER1 has begun to close itself after every single reply; this is the third time in a row it's done that. How annoying. And strange. (also, hmm, more thunderstorms tomorrow =P)

Yeah, I wonder why it's doing that? Looks like me and El Meepo will have to copy the thread here. That is provided that Meepy starts posting here...he seems to be alergic to this board.
I think Lancer is living in the area most like Central Burmecia.

He doesn't post here because he has "too many memories of ROER1" as he put it.

He has said that he'd come here, though - eventually. Don't worry, he'll come, though I have no idea when. I'm going to work on copying that thread myself.

In other news, Jack freakin' Thompson is already using the VT shooting to his advantage and pushing his crusade to ban all video games, by claiming video games caused the shooting. We barely knew who the shooter was by the time he was saying this, and he still jumped at the chance to say it. In particular, he named GTA, Doom, and "other murder simulators".
What a moron. He barely has any credibility anymore, he's been sued for slander and trying to interfere with the First Amendment, he's pretty much about to lose his right to deal with law and whatnot, and he's well-known and hated by everyone on the internet {particularly for trying to sue Penny Arcade, IGN, and other game sites, and for harrassing Scott Ramsoomair}, yet he still goes and does this. I swear, he'll blame anything on games--I bet if he had the chance to, he'd blame the Holocaust, Jesus' crucification, and the extinction of the dinosaurs on video games. >_<
And what's worse is that now Dr. Phil is becoming the next Thompson. He went on Larry King and started ranting about how video games are warping everyone's minds, talking about them like they're the most disgusting, evil invention in history.
Why do these people ALWAYS have to immediately use a serious tragedy to push their anti-games agendas?
