Alrighty, I think I've figured out why all of our RPs die early deaths; they rely too much on a Game-Master type person. So here's an idea: a freeform RP. No GM, few rules, no dice or cards, just RP.
There are several ideas I have, but I want to hear what you RoERites think. Thoughts, comments, questions, comptetely unrelated drivel?

Been thinking about trying the WorldTree universe. Basically, it's a bunch of furries that live in an unbelievably enormous tree. The branch that most of the RP would take place on is well over 100km wide. Magic is common (everyone knows at least a little), but metal and stone are rare.

So that's why it is called World Tree...I see now. Still, you should move it here properly and let us have fun with it!
Also, what the heck happened to my Drinking Pit RP? That was freeform...

Actually that sounds like a really cool idea I'm very interested in doing something like that and it also gives me an excuse to create a new RP character so I'm in.

Before I start anything, I'll go into a little more detail about the world; the races are as following;
Cani - Canines of all sorts; dogs, wolves, foxes, and any other dog-like creature. Family oriented to the point of obsession, once a Cani pledges loyalty to a cause, they are bound to serve that cause, even if they disagree with it. Virtually no sense of privacy.
Herethroy - insects of all shape and size. The Herethroy are pascifists almost to a man. For the most part, they live outside cities, in farming communes. Also extremely arts-oriented.
Goromor - bears. Mostly barbarians that live at the edges of civilization, a Goromor's idea of a good time is a brawl, beer, and yarn around a campfire.
Khytosis - flying squid people. Not overly intelligent on average, have moderate self-healing abilities. Often hired as strongarms.
Sleeth - non-anthro cats. The sleeth are often looked upon with mixed fear, loathing, and pity. They have a small ability to manipulate anything that was once living magically. Often live by themselves in the wild, or with a close friend when in the city.
Orren - otter/ferret/similar creatures. Usually flippant and easily distracted, these characters turn into non-anthro versions of themselves whenever they are submerged, unless they concentrate.
Zi Ri - frail-looking dragon-ish people. Long lived, and often reluctant to become involved in the day to day workings of the world. Often obsessed with magic.
Rammasiel - Pretty much anything else. No circadian rhythms (can sleep whenever, for however long they want). Most common race on the WorldTree.
MAGIC Everyone gets a little magic, some get a lot. You get a certian amount of magical energy (cley) at dawn, and can use as much, or as little as you want during the day. Gaining more cley than your base amount is dangerous. To create a spell, you combine one or more disciplines, and add a verb. Depending on how you mix the ingredients is what you get.
<insert list of disciplines and verbs here>
Everyone can cast about a dozen low-level spells. Most people could snap their fingers, and use their index finger as a cigarette lighter. Not many people could cause a campfire to dance like a beautiful woman. Almost nobody can shoot a fireball the size of a small house.
I'll include more stuff as it's asked for, or becomes necessary.

Are there any anthro cats and other felines? Or are they listed under generic furry? Those races look interesting though.

In the game, there's no anthro felines, but I'll just group them with the 'generic fur' section

Uhm, Mel? Actually I thought it was you who didn't reply... for quite awhile...
Anywho, indeed, interesting races. Out of curiosity, how many PCs can we have at one time?
Anyway, let's get this up and running ASAP.
