I'm about to go to work, so I haven't bought it yet. Reviews look promising.

Already? Damn, that was fast! Sadly I don't have an android capable of playing it, so I'm waiting for it to come on Steam.
(You mean FF9 right?)

Ah if only it came with more content too. Well maybe it does, I don't know everything about it, let's hope so!

Nyeh heh heh! Also the game has cards in it too. Lets go for the foil Freya card! Interesting note: The Freya Crescent steam card is worth the most out of all the cards! Eiko is right behind by a mere 1 cent! and HOLY CRAP! The foil Freya card is worth over 25 dollaree-doos! Good luck boys and girls! And uh...whatever the hell Greysky is...

A foil Freya card? What's this new addition? Did they add new Tetra Master cards for this version or something or is this a Steam feature I'm unaware of?

It's a steam feature. Most games that come out on steam have trading cards associated with them. Steam has a whole thing about them, but I never got into them. What's the port like? I'm still on the fence of buying it.

Never got into them!? YOU SUCK!!! The game so far definitely stays true to it's roots and doesn't disappoint. There has been no news of any real content, but the character graphics are looking phenominal, if not at the same time a bit lazy when it comes to non main characters and especially backgrounds. I'll put in some screen shots to show you. Here's a PC emulation version VS Current FFIX game showing the differences shown so far; Pretty big difference actually, right? Also included in the game (as far as I know, I haven't tested everything), there is cheat options for instant master abilities, max level/max gems, Max Gil, Turbo Mode, Instant ATB/Trance, all attacks do 9999 damage, and no encounters. Also included is fast forward or battle and auto save options. I think. Also, don't take what I'm about to say next with a grain of salt, but the game was made with Unity, so it's POSSIBLE it might be seeing mods just like it's emulated rom version. Tho it might take quite a while to be 100% certain if it's true or not, cross your fingers. As for the decision on whether you should buy it or not; You decide. If you wanna take a walk down memory lane with more beautiful graphics, I say go for it. Otherwise, if you already played it before earlier, I'd wait a bit.

It's interesting seeing these screenshots for the new version. They really have given it the HD treatment. I probably won't be that eager to buy the game if it is just a HD version though, since I like the PS1 version I own just fine.
