Got around to fixing a couple of scripts that were bugging the hell out of me for a while. (One was back-end related, the other was trying to work out how to use prepared statements for editing posts.)

I lost my opening Blood Bowl league game tonight because I swear Meepy jinxed my dice rolls. I did manage to murder one of my opposing players though and injure another. My opponent may have got the win, but he'll be feeling the effects of it in his next game or two.

I just found out the weirdest thing. Garland was originally going to be this big bulky guy with an axe instead of the fail looking old guy he wound up being. I can't just imagine him being that way.

Fail looking? I thought he looked awesome. Anime Christopher Lee was the only ff9 villian that I really liked. Most Main ff villains are kinda bland imo. The sort of mid-level douchebags like rufus, hojo, seifer, adel, and garland are usually a lot more memorable.

Oops, I meant frail. XD Also, despite it being one of the few FF games I've played and didn't really bother to finish, FF8 did have some pretty good villains. Seifer was interesting and the story of Edea being really interesting. Moving to FF9 though, Necron was sorta out of the blue, but I did like Kuja just simply being unable to deal with the fact that he wasn't an "ultimate" being. (Though I'll admit I always have a bit of trouble fighting him. Fuck Double Flare Stars.) Him and Vivi seems pretty similar because of the fact that they sorta have a set lifespan, that's what makes him a better villain to me, him being pretty similar to one of the heroes. I really wish they did more with Garland though.
