OOh my gawd! what is wrong with you people?!!!!
wall-e is by far the coolest movie this year (with maybe exception to heath ledgers performance as the joker in the new batman movie and maybe kung fu panda)
but seriously, i tottaly agree with sery's point on it being made of pure awsomesause and win but also with an extra bit of ASSKICKERY!

I agree that Wall-E is an excellent film (definitely one of the best of the year!), but Pixar/Disney ruined the end of the film. While it had the potential to be something truly epic, the way it finished cheapened the story by changing the greater message of the film from 'this is what is worth something!' to a very cliche 'love conquers all'.
I'm still gonna buy it when it comes out of DVD, though.

Seriously? For real?
Wall-E = Male name, masculine characteristics (its voice, all its telescoping/extensible-bits, being covered in dirt. . .)
EVA = Female name (as pronounced), feminine characteristics (plainly female voice, holding living things in its abdomen-equivalent, and some other weird symbolic things)
All that aside, it's a really dumb thing to be in an up-roar about.

What? WALL-E is the sweetest most beautifully made film I have seen in almost forever and they attempt to taint it with that! I almost cried at that film it was so sweet! I agree slightly with the distortion of the message at the end of the film but you still have to love it! The robots don't even talk for half the film and you love them. THATS how great the film is....well to me anyway but I'm slushy and show me a wellmade film and I'm sold (I've studied films too long to enjoy a badly made one unfortunately).

My whole family went and saw it a couple of days ago, and we all loved it. One of my favorite parts was the ending credits, actually, how it showed their progression...ending with a boy fishing at a lake in view of the Axiom, by then covered by greenery and largely forgotten.
Also, those are probably the same homophobes that see Spongebob Squarepants' nose as a phallic symbol. I kid you not.

If you saw that at a site called Landover Baptist, I hope you're aware that the entire site is a parody made by an Atheist to make fun of evangelical Christians. On another note, who else has noticed how much Wall-E looks like ROB? XD

You've got a point there AJ...the resemblance is uncanny...then again, they are both robots.
