Thanks for actually making the Burmecians in Oblivion mod! I don't play Oblivion but I know people on this board who do! Well done!

I still am confused as to who made it the Burmies mod... Vitross was the only one on the Bethesda boards who discussed making it. Can someone enlighten me? In my view, its someone who is a fan of Burmecians who wanted to make it possible for one to play it in TES: Oblivion.

I've asked the author indirectly, and you are correct qawsed. It isn't vitross. It's just a fan with alot of talent. I have seen many attempts to put burmecians in the Elder scrolls series. Four attempts by four different authors. This is the first one ever released to the public. I knew about vitross way before he started posting on the RoER boards. He was a regular one the Bethesda forums, and as you can see he also made the jump ability video in my last post. He has done a ton of work, and although it saddens me someone beat him to the punch, I am glad that someone else put forth the effort to make Burmies. (off topic) Up until about five months ago, I was always lurking on RoER to see if BIM was going to start up agains. I eventually realized it was over. So for a looooong time (2-3 Mo.) I had to use your ungolim race to satisfy my need. This included jacking the acrobatics to 700-1000 and going bat sh*t crazy all over morrowind. Abour 4 months ago I learned about vitross, and his Burmecian jump. I got excited. I did not have a copy of Oblivion at the time, or the graphics card to support it. I still cheered wildly, ??why??, because i knew that perhaps the memory of FFIX wasn't going to die like I have heard so many times. Several months later, and a few turn offs. It's finally here. An idea that started 2-3 years ago on this message board hath finally matured. The author has completed part of what RoER used to be. It's a bit deep. sorry if I anybody A shame he doesn't post here... That's all. Good day.

I know this is a somewhat old thread, but this is an update with content. I got a new graphics card, and decided to test it out using Oblivion. Then Jed reminded me of the existence of BIO, and of course I had to try that out, too. =P I made a custom class Burmy named Fiona. Heavy & light armor, blunt & bladed, block, restoration, and destruction. She'll be a vampire in another couple game days' time, at which point I'll post more Ready to defend the emperor! Silly bandits. I think that's what she's looking at - she just killed a few. Something very satisfying about smacking a bandit with a giant hammer and seeing him/her corpse go flying. Sitting at the camp near Kvatch. Welcome to the plane of Oblivion! How may I smash your face in today? ^_^ Taking a stroll in the Imperial City. And Cloud Ruler Temple. What a weird name for a place! One of my favorite shots so far - also if you haven't guessed by now, one of the downloads with the mod is one that reduces chest size and overall body weight to be more consistent with Burmy standards. It affects all females in the game...sorta funny seeing an orc chick built like a Burmy Anyway! Yeah. A similar shot, with a better angle but poorer lighting. And fighting to retake Kvatch. Note that these aren't in chronological order. =P I made this one last because I think it's cool that you can see the blood on her mace from the daedra whose skulls she just caved in. =)
