That costume is rad.
The link to the sketch doesn't work, though. Must not allow accesses from outside the site where it's hosted.

Am I the only one who can see those sketches?
That first Freya cosplay looks SOOO sweet! ;D

AOL probably does some boneheaded referrer thing that allows it to subvert that kind of rerouting. Most sane web browsers implement referrer tagging (or whatever) that allows sites to try to cut down on bandwidth leeching by deep links.

Hang on, I've been on that site before. That means I have likely seen those Freya sketches before as well...so much for some fresh art. Oh well, it's getting really hard to find new Freya art and I haven't seen that in so long I forgot I had seen it anyway.

Same here. =P Thanks for the link, Allen! I was way too lazy to go find it again.

Some decent finds there Allen, I didn't particarly like the way Freya was drawn in the pyreflies one. Her legs are too thin and her raincoat is far too bulky in comparison. Plus all her facial features and most of her skin is drowned out in shade.
The Mystery Man comic was hilarious! Even though I didn't particularly like the style that was used for Freya the expressions and dialogue is far too funny for me not to fave it. ;D
Edit: I've just realised, after looking at Freya again, I notice the author hasn't been consistent with her fingers...@_@ Most of them have four fingers, but Freya having four fingers on one hand, five on the other is something I've never seen an artist do until now. I wonder if the artist knows?

Rob, you're obsessed with fingers.

It is a fair point to make when the artist is contradicting himself, but I'm not going to argue the whole fingers thing again. I have proven that it isn't nit-picking, even if it isn't as important as proportion and the shape of the characters.

Well, it appears that it's up to me to revive this thread again. I was perusing my art collection, when these two pieces showed up. Upon re-visiting the hosted site to look for links, it turns out that the page is gone. Apparently the artist has moved on to bigger and better things, but here are the two pics that I found Fratley's DreamBurmecian DancerOnce again, I say that these pics aren't mine in any way, and I never said that they were. . . but you already knew that, didn't you

Cool piccies Allen! I haven't seen these two before. I can guess what happens to Fratley during that dream (in r/l) but I won't say it in fear of being slapped for being crude XDDD

Great finds there Allen! I haven't seen those before, and that's an interesting style for Burmecians.
Mel, we all know that Fratley is dreaming of dancing with her like that, don't we? Although he might want her to drop the spear...

Pfft, you're both wrong! Everyone knows that Fratley likes to dream of hot buttered toast smothered with ice-cream and a nice hot cocoa on the side =P

Well, I never thought I would see that pic again. She look so sweet.
Well anyway, that was part of a two pic thing. I learned about it from a memeber off the old board before he was booted off. All I can say is that in his dream fratley has her drop more then the spear.
Still, I adore the almost innocent look on her face. It looks like she wants a hug.

Uh... They were drawn by an artist named Lady Foxglove.
