A strenuous bit of Freya art I did using Amano's original design as a costume guideline. Although I love Amano's art, I find myself scratching my head at how he drew Freya. Although the bust of her he did is much better. At any rate. Really proud of this piece, and am pleased to present it to you fine folks!

Awesome art, but I never quite understood the flowery swim pants/boxers

Is it possible that Freya was originally conceived as a Red Mage instead of a Dragon Knight? In the original art her lance more closely resembles a staff or wand, and she has that weird fairy creature flying next to her, a familiar perhaps?

Very nice! Yay for flowery pantaloons!
Also, in the anamo drawings, all the main characters had familiars...

Looks awesome, great jon Kazen-mew!
...why do I keep seeing her wearing flowery bloomers instead?

Some of the familiars, look oddly like chibi-ish versions of the primary character portrayed.

Doh! I never noticed the others before, I wonder if they were put there just for flavor, or if they were intended at one time to be a part of the game. Either way, Amerant's chill little lizard is the coolest.
