If Ozma and Kuja count as flying creatures, then Necron, someone who actually has wings, counting as flying doesn't surprise me in the slightest. To reply to Fregrassr, I think FF9 works best in the chibi style. I'm not sure some of the characters would change much in the realistic style though. How can Freya be made more realistic anyway? Also, for you fans of those weird cheater hack pics from earlier... here is another one.

Now, this just goes to show that, if Zidane can be subbed for Vivi, then Freya can be subbed for Zidane! <has a purpose in life again>
Where're you getting these pics? The source might have some info on how to change character models. . .

O.o Also, Trance Kuja counts as a human. nya ha ha I think it's hilarious how even the technically 'non human' Kuja, and big, scary Necron have classifications. Equipping respective slayers made the solo-Freya-thing possible. EDIT: About character models, I'm certain it's possible, but won't it glitch up during certain scripted scenes / events? Or are you talking about simply reskinning Zidane?

I don't think re-skinning would work properly, but from what I can tell, the characters are all rigged similarly, so scripted events should work properly, though dialogue might seem strange (Freya hitting on Dagger???) I have no experience with hacking PS games though, so it might be some time before this even becomes possible Even when it is, I'm pretty sure it'd only work on PSX emulators

Oops, sorry Fregassr. Solo-Freya games would be quite easy I'd imagine. I know for a fact that people have done Solo-Vivi, which I think would be much harder...
Allen, those pics came from a topic on GameFAQs where someone had used a Gameshark device to get all the chocographs well before he should have had them. He then explored what crazy stuff he could do with it. He wouldn't know anything about how to replace characters.

I think I'd like the Crisis Core graphics because of all the more detail that would be obvious in the graphics personally...

That's something normal you can actually do on Disc 3.

Really? I didn't think so. You get those cards with Vivi, not Zidane. The cards change by Disc 3 when you can use Zidane there.
Plus, the main thing is the guy was using Zidane in a pre-Bahamut Alexandria, which you can't do.

I think if you do the thing with Hippaul and not get the cards, then when you go back in Disc 3 you get the new cards and the other cards as well. That's what the official guide says, anyway.

Correction: After Beatrix finds the letter, up to the part where Zidane, Vivi, Freya and Amarant arrive at the castle to see Garnet one last time, you do in fact play as Zidane, at which point you can go pick up the Ramuh and Shiva cards {along with the other less powerful cards from Disc 1 if you didn't already get them } if you haven't already done so with Vivi.

Youse people wouldn't happen to have an ePSXe save state near the point in Cleyra when you take control of Freya?
BTW, for those that don't know, a save state is something that is exclusive to emulators. Instead of using the game's built-in saving system (in this case, moogle-diaries), the host computer takes a snapshot of the game, and saves it to memory, so that the player can start at that exact instant of time, instead of finding a save point. It's like a savegame, but much more detailed and useful for what I need.
