Alex looked to the two arguing, then to Frato "I do not believe we should interfere... Perhaps we can go around and get to the work site?" He asked the knight as he looked over at the two again. "I say we let him do his job" The burmecian spoke as he looked at Sir Gregory.

"I would agree with you...but the problem is that the man in charge of allocating new workers to jobs is Sir Gregory. We need to talk to him." Frato explained as he continued to watch the situation.
"I'm afraid I'm not permitted to give out materials to people outside of the camp." Gregory continued the argument. "If you're wanting building materials, you should head to the palace and ask for some there. The Burmecians there are the ones who are providing all our resources."
"Rrg...fine! Maybe I'll head to the palace then!" The redhead replied hotly, before turning away with a snort and marching off.
"Whew...I finally got rid of him..." Gregory sighed with relief, before turning to see the party. "Oh! Greetings Sir Frato! Who are these people? More people to help with the reconstruction?"
"Yeah...guys, this is Sir Gregory." The hybrid introduced the knight. "Why don't you introduce yourselfs and tell him what you'd be good at?"

Ristano merely nodded in agreement with Alex as he watched the argument with interest. As he looked from Dragoon to Dragoon, he bounced on his clawtips.
"Really gotten interesting around here...glad to be back."
As the argument dissipated thanks to Sir Gregory, the merchant almost looked disappointed.
With introductions called for Ristano gives a big grin to Sir Gregory. He offered a hand to the Burman. Eyes looked behind the Dragoon briefly before returning to the soldier's own.
"Ristano Ingram, merchant of less renown than I'd like! Probably not much use for a seller of books like me. But I do know how to use a hammer as well as the next person, pretty good with numbers too."

Alex had watched the angry burmecian walk by, his eyes keeping poised on Gregory there after. "My name is Alex... Uh, I am a mechanic. I was in Lindblum working on The big air ships" He gave a smile as he sat back watching the two talking. "Im good with my hands and my mind if you have need of them" The burmecian looked almost too confident as he stood there watching the Knight.

"Pleased to meet you both!" Gregory replied with a smile. "I'm sure I can get you to help distributing the work materials Ristano, as well as just using your hammer. As for you Alex, I think I can get you putting in the heating and stuff for the houses we've nearly finished rebuilding here. You'll both be a great help."
"Say Gregory...before you show them off, do you want to explain why you were barring that guy from here earlier? What was he up to?" Frato inquired.
"Oh...him?" Gregory was a little surprised by the change in topic, and then sighed. "He was causing a ruckus, disrupting the workers by shouting about how we should even with the Alexandrians and such...I eventually had to drag him off when everyone started complaining about him. He was a real hassle."
"That's funny..." Frato commented. "...We saw a guy like that earlier who was arguing with Kaz...right Alex?"

Ristano nodded a few times to Sir Gregory. "Nothing I can't handle!" he responded, enthusiasm in his voice. He looked over his shoulder away from the Dragoon. "Right? Right!" Once again it seemed the merchant was directing comments to mere air.
At the mention of upset Burmecians, the nezumi snorted. "Angry idiots, though I know how they feel. Lots of anger in our once beautiful city.." the Burman says bitterly.

"I noticed he wore similar robes" Alex nodded as he scratched his chin while pondering about it for a moment. "This city sure has changed" The burmecian looked to Ristano for a moment "It might be the fact we were attacked by those humans. Hatred fueled by the urge for revenge?" Alex let out a sigh as he muttered about something "If only people were like machines, you can fix them easier so long as you have the blue prints and tools."

"Yeah...now that you mention it, those two did have similar clothes." Frato mused. "Maybe I should see if I can find out more about those two. We can't have guys like that running out causing riots everywhere. What do you think Greg?"
"It might be a good idea, but aren't you on guard duty?" Gregory replied.
"I'm sure I can find someone to take over." Frato said reassuringly, before turning to Ristano and Alex. "Well, I'd better head off guys. I trust you'll be alright now...right?"

"I think i have an idea on where to go from here " He nodded as he watched frato before giving a tilt of his head. "Oh! what about that Kaz fellow? Cant he help?" Alex added.

Ristano flicked his ears, and nodded in agreement with Alex. "Too many broken hearts and lives..."
To Frato, the merchant grinned. "Fine now! A little direction always helps, far too many of us lost and confused, hmm? If it weren't for you Dragon Knights, who knows what we'd all be reduced to."

"Yeah...well, you're welcome." Frato replied to the merchant, before turning to Alex. "I guess he could, maybe he found something whilst doing his patrol? I'll go and look for him. See ya later guys."
With that, the hybrid headed off. Gregory then started gesturing for them to follow him.
"Well, I'd better put you guys to work." The Dragon Knight said with a smile. "Everyone's pretty much sorted out with materials and such for now Ristano, so you can just help these guys with some simple construction." Gregory pointed out a small group of Burmecians who were building the side of a house. "As for you Alex, the men over a here are trying to furnish these buildings, you can help them install the water supply and the heating systems. I'm sure you'll both be okay with that, right?"

"Of course! Well... I worked more with machines but it appears to be the same principle as the engines. I will make sure not to put the pipes in the wrong positions" Alex chuckled as he looked over at the building where he was being directed. "It was my first job anyway" The burmecian smiled while he gazed at the buildings in question.

Ristano waved as Frato headed off, and turned his attention to Gregory again. The male's attention seemed to wander every now and then, both air and other Burmecians drawing his gaze. At least he nodded, not entirely distracted. "I'll hammer with the best of 'em! See you around, Dragon Knight!" A lazy salute to both the engineer and Dragoon, and he was off towards the house in question. First he whistled as he walked, only to interrupt himself. He waved his arms about as if shooing away a fly. "Away, away! Not now, they'll think I'm crazy! Enough embarrassing me. No, no, no! Fool! I'm not like that, I don't care what you think should be done!" he mumbled, voice full of irritation.

Gregory smiled and waved the two off as they headed towards their designated building areas, and got back to patrolling the construction site.
Ristano got a few odd glances from the nezumi working on the buildings as he raved to himself, and one curious Burmecian just had to question him.
"Say...just who are you talking to?"
Frato went back to where he'd found Kaz earlier, and after a few moments of searching he finally found the young captain on his patrol.
"Hey Kaz, I need to talk to ya for a minute. Just what do you know about that guy who was raving at you earlier?" The hybrid asked.

"I have no idea... but there has been a bunch of those pests running around terrorizing the workers. Every time I have approached them they tend to run away? So... Not much but what they wear" Kaz sighed as he leaned against the wall looking somewhat out of breath. "How is that guy you showed me earlier?" He asked curiously while looking about the area to keep an eye on the activities of the people around him. "No trouble around here though." He sighed.

The merchant stopped amid his walkings towards his assigned task, and turned to the nezumi that addressed him. He stared at his fellow Burmecian for a moment, before grinning.
"Just some old friends! Always around, you see! Or, at least, for the last few weeks. Thought they were gone, then back, then gone again! Ha ha ha! But no, those slimey humans couldn't keep them down! Or those damn...creatures!" Ristano replied, before coughing. The wild look in his eyes dissappeared, and he blinked at the nezumi.
"A...ahh...right. Sorry. How's the rebuilding coming?" He said, clearly trying to redirect the subject of the conversation, as he regained some of his sanity.

Frato gave an agitated sigh. "Ugh...well, at least I know these people are worth investigating. We can't have Burmecians walking around and causing disruptions everywhere, especially when we're trying to rebuild. Look, let's just go patrolling and see if we can find anything. With two of us we have a better chance of finding something."
The hybrid then headed off down the street, looking back at Kaz after a few steps to ensure the captain was following.
The nezumi smiled at Ristano's rather crazy explanation. "Heh, you're right in a way, our friends will never die as long as we remember. That's why we're working hard here right?" He gestured towards the house they were working on. "The reconstruction is going nicely, I'm sure we're doing our friends proud. Why don't ya come over and give us a hand...mister...?"
Meanwhile, another few nezumi approached Alex. "Hey! You look like you a know a few things about machines. You ever help install a water system buddy?"
In a rather derelict building, two robed figures entered looking rather angry and greeted another nezumi clad in black robes with ornate, red symbols.
"Wait til you hear this Drago!" One of the figures revealed himself to be the redhead who was arguing with Gregory. "They say they won't let us have the building materials so we can fix our own homes! How unfair is that?"
"Well, they must have a reason for it." The man referred to as Drago replied. "Did they tell you why?"
"They said they couldn't afford to give any out, that it's all being used on the site that this Gregory guy is overlooking, and the sites in the palace! Pfft, I bet they're just hoarding it to them-"
"Enough!" Drago interrupted. "That's fine, construction site will eventally get round to our district and they'll do the work for us. In the meantime, I've got us some shelter in one of the recently rebuilt areas. A friend of mine owed me a favour." He then turned to the other nezumi, who was the black haired youth Kaz had been confronting. "How about you? Have you found any potential new members of our little group?"
"Ugh...I'm sorry. But no-one would listen to me. It's really annoying how people say they don't want to get involved with Alexandria again...don't they remember what they did to us!? And this soldier tried to quiet me down! Augh!"
"Well, if you keep shouting at people and trying to force them over to us, of course they won't listen. You have to be more subtle." Drago scolded. "Tch. You two are hopeless. The only attention you two have got is the kind we don't want. Now listen, let me smooth things over with this soldier you argued with..." He turned back to the redhead. "As for you, go back and apologise to this Gregory and offer to help with the reconstruction. The faster they're done, the faster they move on to our area. Understood?"
"Yes Drago..." The two replied, looking sheepish.

Ristano nodded several times, clapping his hands as he looked at the other nezumi.
"Couldn't have said it better myself! They appreciate it, soon enough they'll be dancing on our freshly minted ceilings, keeping us up at all hours in glee!" The crazy one started towards the work site along with his fellow Burmecian acquaintance.
"Ristano Ingram, merchant! Or, former merchant as it were. Can't be a merchant without a stock, all burnt up by those insane constructs. Poof, up in flames. Just like everything else...Who are you my good fellow? I hope things have fared better for you than I!"

"Sounds like a good idea to me" Kaz nodded as he followed along behind Frato keeping his eyes out for those ruffians. "Hopefully we can deal with this quickly. I'm hungry" He whined as he kept up with the Dragoon.
Alex looked strangely at the one asking him if he wanted to work with a smile "I've constructed a few myself... This should not take too long" He nodded to the burman that had approached him.

Frato gave a little groan as Kaz stated that he was hungry. "If you're that desperate for food, go and get an apple or something..."
As the two continued their patrol, they heard nothing until Frato heard footsteps heading their way, and stopped to listen and look for their source. The black haired nezumi they were looking for came into view, accompanied by a figure in a black, hooded cloak, decorated with strange, yet detailed red symbols.
"Looks like we didn't have to look far..." Frato scowled. "What are you doing back here?"
"Relax. We just wanted to clean up the ugly event you witnessed earlier and ensure there is no hard feelings between us." The robed figure replied.
The black haired nezumi looked rather awkward with the situation, visibly anxious. "Yeah...I just wanted to apologise for my ranting earlier...I'm sorry, okay? I...I've just been really worked up lately...Can you forgive me?"
The nezumi gave a rather amused look at Ristano's strange reply, before introducing himself.
"I'm Gary, and not particularly...my house got trashed. Lost quite a lot of friends and relatives too..." His ears dipped a little, before perking up again. "Still, enough about me! We have work to do!"
The Burmecian resumed his work, before his ears pricked at the murmurings of the crowd. He looked up and noticed everyone was glancing at the red-haired nezumi returning to the site. "Oh great...not him again."
"Great! Well let's set you shall we?" The nezumi grinned and lead Alex towards a building. As he did, he stopped and looked as he heard murmuring from his comrades and looked towards the figure approaching the site, before tutting and moving on.
