I'm a fitness junkie. I'm also a health nut. I spend at least an hour a day working my butt off to get in shape, and an average of up to two a day creating tasty, yet healthy snacks and meals. For almost a decade I've been trying (and failing) to get in shape, but a crippling bad diet and other commitments prevented me from ever reaching my goals, and on some occasions made things even worse. About a year and a half ago, I realized that my biggest pitfall was in fact my diet, and I've been slowly cutting the crap out and substituting my usual staple of pizza and microwaveable burgers for steak, chicken, lamb, salads and veggies. Lots and lots of veggies.
I've also been working out to some of BeachBody's programs almost every day - notably P90X, Insanity and Body Beast. As of writing, I've already crushed P90X twice, did a six month P90X/P90X+ hybrid, and now I'm almost halfway through my first round of Body Beast. My current stats since February this year are as follows:
Weight: 66.5KG Body Fat: 13%
Chest: 34 inches Shoulders: 44.5 inches Waist: 32 inches Hips: 34.5 inches Biceps: 13 inches Thighs: 21.5 inches Calves: 16 inches
I'm posting this because I'd like to share my fitness journey with everyone on this forum, and also allow others to share their own fitness journeys too, or any tasty foods they might even came up with. Or any programs they're doing. Either way, what are you guys doing to stay fit?
