HI! sorry if i am a complete pleb if im getting this wrong but when i view new messages that say its been posted "Today" on the main page but when i read it, next to the avatar it sometimes say's somthing like March 07,
im probbly reading somthing wrong but its just in case i post somthing to a really old tread again im sorry.

When you first signed up, were all the threads in any particular forum labeled as "New"?

yeah basicly everone was labled new, however once i read them the "new" went. but te next day i looked and read more of them i found on the main forum page saying on the right that the newest message was sent "Today" and when i click on te link the date showed somthing a lot older.
If probbly got it wrong im going to have anoterlook, but just in case i reply to an old post by accident that i thought was new, i just want you guys to know i am trying to abide by your rules

I just realised it again, when i posted a message not too long ago in artwork section, i was asking how to upload pictures my sent date said May 2008 however, I Cant belive its not Allen and Freyarule's replys said the date was March 2007 even though they posted after me. its probbly just my computer doing it but i thought i'd let u guys know

You seem to be confusing the time stamp with a user's Join date. That's the date a particular user first joined the forums. Time stamps for posts are located at the top of a post.
As far as necropostage goes, I suggest that you click the Mark As Read button at the bottom of the main page to clear all the "New" labels. Though it'd be better if you pay attention to the last post date, as we would prefer you didn't go grave digging. :)

ahhhh, i see it all coming together now, *leans back in chair and puts elbos on desk, putting fingertips together in a 'tent' shape to try and look as dignified as possable* ............mnnnn, trying to look dignified isnt working. i still feel like a spaz  HA! thanks for ur help anyway serylis |

Serylis is the name of a certain muscular, axe-wielding dragoness that he roleplayed with on ROER2 and has a crush on, as well as Fratley. You see, this is why I dislike people fiddling with their own username and changing it endlessly, it just confuses people! |
