Ice cream floats are great for just about anytime, wish I had one today at work lol. I started today at my new job, just helping to set up a mall in my small town. Out of 9 people today we were able to put up 80 tables(they took a while so many bolts and nuts) then some racks for clothes and some shelves in the back. I was the only one that brought lunch with myself, two pb sandwaches, a ginger ale, some oreos and some cheese. The boss said I was one of the smart ones. Also I did a lot praying I had to tighten up some more bolts on some other racks. It was also quite an interesting day as well one of my old high school friends was also working there as well. We would talk here and there and what not, then while heading for home she pulls up beside me and gives me a lift a home. When I got home I had to go and get supper for the folks, no worrries I said. Untill the power went out in town so I went for a ride to get supper in the next town over and got supper there and some lunch suppiles. All in all twas a good first day of work

Sounds like a busy, but ultimately satisfying day. Man, setting up a mall - widely varying in size, but they're always big! They have you working only in a specific area, or all over?
Also, I actually don't like ice cream floats very much. I do, however, love root beer. And I also enjoy making oreo sludge by dropping four into a bowl, pouring a tiny amount of milk in, and then scooping myself some ice cream. Works beautifully!

I have to do stuff here and there, walking around all over for 8 hours it does tucker ya out when ya ain't use to it. Within the next week things should be alright with me... I hope anyways. Also I do love root beer as well. I have drank a&w, mug and barqs, but I hope that I can still find some hires at the local shop in town it comes every now and then so when its there I get some.

Allen: Barqs has more bite to it though. That's also why I will always choose Coca-Cola over Pepsi. XD

I've never had root beer either. I have vowed never to drink any alcohol. I don't like the taste, anyway <3 (and before you say "you said you'd never have some" I have had some in the past )

Why would you vow never to drink alcohol? There's nothing wrong with it provided you don't have too much. All you need to do is a find a drink you like.

I just can't stand the smell of yeast. I think it has something to do with that time I nearly threw up from the smell of yeast . . . dunno. Anyhow, I just haven't found anything I like, and don't really care to. I'll happily take a sip or two of whatever my family gets (assuming it doesn't smell like crap), but I'm just not a drinker. I do love me some Mountain Dew, though! XD
EDIT: Oh yippee. More storms coming through today. =P

Rob: I dunno, I just don't like the idea of drinking alcohol. My friend's dad does the same so I guess he's my sort of role model when it comes to that XD

I highly recommend the Fuzzy Navel. It consists of a shot of Peach Schnapps in a glass of orange juice, with a little clubsoda or sprite for fizz. And for kicks, there's the Hairy Navel, which is the same as above, but including a shot of vodka.

I'm going to have more videos to link to later on tonight or tomorrow . . . several roads are washed-out, bridges are nearly submerged, and severe storms are supposed to keep on going throughout the night. My online presence might be intermittent, depending on how exactly the weather goes.

Why is Lancer getting all the disastrous weather at the moment? Is it because he is the "God of Chaotic Weather"? Where all the crappiest weather wishes to be with him and cover him in rain and gale-force winds?

I definitely DMed my first D&D session during a lunch break today You shoulda seen the look on this guy's face! <him>I open the door <me> Uh, what's your reflex modifier? <him>(pause)Sh*t. For those that don't know what that means, you use a reflex throw to calculate how fast somebody pulls away from a threat. Since opening a door doesn't require a reflex action, he knew that he just set off a trap From the on, he didn't touch another door, but made someone else do it!

Looks like Allen is experiencing the joy of being an evil tabletop RP GM...
Do you accept bribes in your D&D session to keep characters alive Allen? I know one of my GMs accepted chocolate bribes since every week someone was at risk of being killed.

To be honest, I haven't had that problem yet. . . It all started when I received D&D for dummies and its companion, DM for dummies for my b-day!
also, what do you think of a ravenous swarm of flying fish?

lol @ Allen. Wow, we got a lot of rain . . . we got about a month and a half's worth of rain in the space of eight hours! I took some pictures and video clips, then went back to a couple of those same spots the day after and took more for the sake of comparison. I'm going to make a whole new thread for it, since crazy weather seems to be happening more often lately.
