Flying fish? Weird...
My GM is currently looking over the ways he could kill our characters with glee. I doubt our characters will survive for very long.
Thankfully we don't have to worry about character deaths in ROER2...

RAWR my internets have gone crappy! D= With my cable connection cutting in and out at random, I'm stuck in dialup tonight. That means no flood pics or videos until tomorrow; sorry, folks. And no streaming internet radio, either! Poo.

My home computer still has its internet screwed and my dad is discovering how feckless the AOL help service is. Then again, AOL itself is feckless at working for long periods.
Luckily my laptop works fine.

I think my internets are okay now, so I'm going to be trying to upload all that stuff and make the thread later on today. Be on the lookout! =P
Robbo, you lucky bum. I wish I had a laptop - or at least an LCD monitor, so my little desk wouldn't lose half its space to my big 'ole 17" CRT.

It ain't too hard to get a simple laptop Lancer. Mine was basically the cheapest I could find that could do basic stuff. I just wish it didn't have a broken mouse button just because I kept pressing it too hard. I want a touch-pad button!

Of course it's not hard, Rob. It's expensive, and that's the trouble. I can't afford to spend $150 to get a bargain LCD monitor, and the cheapest laptop I've seen was still well over $500.

lol i bought a brand new Insprion E1505...
It burnt out the same day, and took like 2 weeks to get a new one, so i was stuck on my old pentium 3 laptop, as my desktop was not completely built. Did you know all their customer service is in India?

After one weeks worth of work I gotta say I got banged up all the while . I already posted the first day of work so i'll just post the highlights if ya will. On the second day of work I was moving and building shelves and moving them here and there. while doing that the second in command was trying to have a joke with one of the lady workers by blowiing a kiss to her but I was in the way. He stopped and just went . I'm like well next time look before ya shoot. Afterwards I had to move more racks and tables in the right spots. Then on wednesday it was pretty much the same save for the second in command was gone back to his store. I got trusted with cash to get some supplies for the job while walking in the rain so I had fun and go to sit with the rest of the crew and I got off early cause I had to deliver paper work to the head office so I can get payed next week, its going to be one big one I must say. Along the trip I saw much wildlife out and about. On thursday I had to go around and move the racks into the EXACT spot for merchandise for monday. Moved some skids here and there. Then hung up some hooks on the shelves as well. At last the fun part of that day was going dumpster diving! The boss said some &*^%&*(^*(&^*(6 had used the cardboard bin for garbage instead so I had to go in and fish it out. Was fun till I found this green thing and by the weight of it it felt like a body was in it but there wasn't just something that got wet from the day before. Then I slipped on cardboard and was lucky to land on it to. Today beats the rest though. I had to move some hooks so that they could be hung, take down a shelf to get at something for other workers, bring out extra shelves and take out the garbage. After that I had to go and get some water from the only place in the mall. So I went to go and get some and found the water supply was underneath a big steel pipe. I saw it when I went to get water but when I raised my head back up WHACK! I hit my head on the dang thing and I swear I moved it by an inch. The pipe was about 6-9 inches round so I hit it pretty hard. The electrician made a funny saying I saw stars but not the ones in hollywood. I gave meself a little bump, put some ice on it from my cooler and was sweeping up the place with my high school friend to finish off the day. She also gave me a ride home and hoped that I was feeling alright and I said of course all I did was either knock more sense into me or knocked out what little I had to begin with. We both laughed and I was home in no time. This week has rough on me but I have been able to keep working with scars on my hands, sore knees and feet, backpains and now a banged up head. I'll keeping going to it's all set up and hopefully get a new system with my first paycheck. Only time will tell whats going to happen next.

Seems that folks on here get really competitive over the most meaningless of things. *rolls eyes*

LOL @ Scary Mary.
Yes, it began when the boards moved over here and Lancer stripped me of my title as Highest Poster. I will earn it back, although if you count the posts from ROER1 I am still the highest poster by far.

Ah, but you see, there's an old saying that goes along the lines of "quality over quality". Just something for you to think about, really ;p

Maaaaan, my internets are so freaking screwy lately. >< I may not be around much until Monday, depending upon how often it decides to work . . . I generally don't use dialup if I'm not actually at the keyboard or it's night, so that's pretty much that.
