The movie rekindled my love affair with the X-Files, not only did it post fascinating questions on science, ethics, theology, etc, but it was truly ahead of its time... I've been slowly picking up the episodes as I can free up the money...
I've also got a funny picture of a Burmecian version of Scully and Mulder running around in my head...
Anyone else in love with the series? Its one of the only good series to come out of fox...

My mum used to watch it, she was scared half the time but still watched it :S
She used to play this X files game, which was quite freaky, as you didn't know if you were going the wrong way. One false move and then they'd be showing a clip of your character being fished out of the river.....yeah. Gave me nightmares when I had the guts to watch her (which was very rare).

Your talking about the new movie, right? The X-Files: I Want to Believe
I haven't seen the movie yet, but from what I remember from the series it was a very dramatic show. Of course, I couldn't get into it much because there were other blockbuster shows that my parents had me engaged into (Star Trek: Voyager).
Still, I do hear at college that a third movie is being discussed. Any truth to this?
Maybe fox will get off it's craziness, and make a truly perfect plot. (Maybe like.... I dunno.... Discovering a lab where the Burmecian race is in the Arctic? Uber!)

Fox Moulder isn't crazy, sure, he's a sex addict in real life, but he's not crazy...
