One of my closest friend had a liver transplant a few months after he was born and after almost 19 years his body is rejecting it and so I thought I'd pose the question wether anyone else here is an organ donor or even a blood donor? (I'm both )

I'm an organ donor, but having a phobia of needles makes it difficult to donate blood... They can have it all after I'm dead.

I'm also an organ donor, blood donation makes me very ill.
Somehow I find the thought of a piece of me living on after I'm dead to be pretty damn interesting.

I am signed up as a blood donor and have been for AGEEES and yet I have yet to give blood. Everytime I've gone to it's been too soon after an injection or when I've been sick. But yeah I want my organs to carry on being useful when I'm gone i mean I'm not going to be using them anymore On a side note a few years ago my teacher's niece died in a car crash but as an organ donor her eyes went to a man in Asia, a place where she had always wanted to go I think that's sweet a bit like early reincarnation?

...Because he was blind?
Anyway, I've not donated anything yet, I guess I'm a little scared about giving blood after nearly passing out from having a blood sample taken once. That plus I've been too lazy to go...

The fainting thing I understand some people can't help but faint when blood is removed but come on laziness? *shakes head in shame* ooo on a side note! Saw 7 pounds today Confusing as hell but I like the fact that you can choose who your organs go to if you want, in fact in some cases it is recommended!
