Over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind. Withering my intuition, missing opportunities and I must Feed my will to feel my moment drawing way outside the lines.
..great song.

I love Jonathan Coulton! Well, particularly, the machinimas that've been done to his songs. Songs are great, too, though - I want to put "Re: Your Brains" on my ipod =P EDIT: Oops! Was off-topic. Bad me, bad! On-topic: is it the same gaia? Or an alternate future? I haven't played/don't remember enough of FF7 to know.

Oooo don't try and put Final Fantasies into a timeline it will destroy you! Seriously its freaky but mmm I love that idea on the sword...maybe it eroded? That would explain the change in size a little but not very accurate.

I prefer to believe that the Gaias of FFIX and FFVII are separate and distinct worlds, mainly because if FFVII was the future of FFIX, then that means there are no more burmecians by Clouds time. Of course the end of FFVII implies that humans have become extinct on Gaia as well, which evens things out in my opinion.

FFIX's Gaia and FFVII's world are not the same. FFVII is supposed to be a version of Earth, as Sephiroth's Super Nova attack clearly shows our solar system being destroyed.
So for Ziddy and Cloud's Ultima Weapon to be the same, it would have to have fallen through some kind of space vortex.

True, hence the neon sign in 7th Heaven that says "Texas", and the Korean platter (or w/e it's called) at the diner in the slums.
... ... But... Where ARE Texas and Korea in FF7 Gaia?
Hmmm...

Gaia is it's own planet... Earth never had two moons or two gargantuan trees which are big enough to build cities in...
