Had a BRILLIANT idea today Gonna dress as Pyramid Head on a random NON-HALLOWEEN night, and roam the neighborhood. Scare the crap out of people. Now, anyone wanna help me figure out how to make the Pyramid? I can skip the knife. but the hat kinda makes him who he is... robshi, if you wanna keep your position as General of the Black Mage army, give me some ideas dood *EDIT* Oh well robshi... you were late...

You're asking the wrong guy anyway, Melzi is our cosplay expert...I'm more for magic, mathematics and physics...

Ah cardboard boxes...the ultimate hiding place, and a mobile home for bums and Meepo.

I've seen so many people at expos as pyramid head (although mine and my other half's personal theory is that it's just one dude reusing the same costume because he always looks EXACTLY THE SAME. The cardboard approach seems best but use good quality cardboard and some supports or something in it? Otherwise you will be droopy pyramid head and that isn't that scary... Oooo you gonna have theme music?

okies, but keep in mind, this is not a cosplay deal. It is simply to roam the neighborhood on a random night. It will not need to withstand multiple uses or even a whole day at a con. My intention is to roam in an area with no streetlights, so it doesn't even need to look that good xD

Don't get shot. I know there's people out there that will draw on you for that stuff, especially if you live in a shall-issue state.

As one who already made this costume, I do agree with Gunny's advice and bid you to wear that on Halloween only, if not for cosplay.

Come over to the UK! Over here we don't have guns! You'll either be called a nutter or arrested for some health and safety issue!
