1.) Get healthy and change my diet. I know it sounds cliché, but this time, I mean it. This diet of fried chicken, cheeseburgers, pizzas and big, greasy ham and cheese baguettes topped off with two bottles of cola a day has to stop. It makes me feel like crap, I'm sleeping more often and for longer periods during the day, and it's beginning to affect my performance down at the gym. My metabolic rate's slowed down as a result, and I'm turning into a right porker at the minute.
2.) Spend less time on Everquest and do more work. Let's face it, I've got too much time on my hands lately, no thanks to a certain MMORPG, so it's time I went back into the swing of things - I want to make some leeway in my art career, as there are some things I still want to draw/practice on, and I may get around to doing another big update for the Freya Crescent Shrine.
3.) Be more positive, direct and independent. I'm tired of being pushed into a submissive role by everyone, and even more irritated by the fact that my voice isn't heard all the time. I might be introvert, but I'm not going to put up with folks assuming that I can just be walked on, dominated, or manipulated all the time. From now on, I'm carrying my own weight. If anyone has a problem with that, go find someone else to coerce.
So hey, do any of you guys have any new year's resolutions you wanna share?

1.) Work hard on my courses and finish college. Start writing a lot more by blogging as well as writing up stories, possibly even review a few games now and then...need to get into the practice of it if it is going to get me anywhere. Same thing for drawing too.
2.) Find a temporary job to make a modest earning in the mean time.
3.) Kick my dirty habit of procrastinating on virtually everything.
4.) Start running again. I wanted to do this for quite some time now but never made an effort to go out of the way and make time for it.
5.) Help fix my brother's roof.

1. Spend more time talking to friends I rarely spoke to at the end of last year. I feel a bit guilty about them 2. Try not to be so paranoid about things (yeah like that'll ever stop) 3. Lose some weight I'm beginning to get self conscious again. 4. Spend as much time as possible with my oh so smexy Jamesy-wamesy <3 <3 <3 (mah boyfriend of just over 2 months)

1. Try to stop sinking into an e-pit void of contact with the online world. I tend to do that. Not entirely sure why.
2. Learn to delegate. I hate feeling like I'm asking others to do things I could do myself, but I think it may come across as arrogant. Also, I've discovered that no, I can't in fact do everything in every facet of my life. I can't be everything.
3. Make time for more trips. I might feel less like the walls are closing in if I made a point of escaping them more often.
4. Stop second-guessing myself so much. When I'm not at work, I'm worrying myself sick (sometimes literally) that I didn't do well enough and that I'll find an angry note when next I come to work and enter the office. It's not constructive, and doesn't exactly help my productivity in or out of work.
5. Choose a freaking major. Again. I was about to get a degree when they suddenly altered the entire program, ruining the work I'd done, and I have had trouble figuring out what to do with myself since. The wreck didn't help. For whatever reason, my academic performance dropped substantially and has yet to fully recover. Meanwhile, others my age have gotten their degrees, started careers, and married. Makes me feel a little...behind on life.
S'all I can think of. Time to go get ready for work. :\

Meanwhile, others my age have gotten their degrees, started careers, and married. Makes me feel a little...behind on life. Same situation here. However, it appears half the people my age have received their degrees, found jobs, and have second thoughts on what they are doing or have received their degrees and are still looking for work. Not meaning to make this sound negative, not by a long shot (it happens), just saying that although they may seem ahead doesn't necessarily mean they actually are. I can guarantee they will probably end up doing something else eventually. Also, I feel that people are rushing marriage far too quickly at such a young age today, not that there is anything wrong with that, but that's just me. Keep your head up, you're doing just fine.

I know I'm new, but I had to reply. Haven't even added one of these to my journal yet c.c
1. We know the cliche. Get in shape or the next one to join the party will be a cardiologist. I haven't really gotten started on this yet, but I have a some-what valid excuse. Have to clear all the Xmas stuff out of the house that now blocks my treadmill while it waits for storage. 2. Get back on the horse. Its been about a year since I got booted from my radiology studies. I need a new degree and a new beginning. 3. Life won't be as hard doing a different degree.. (in theory!). I want to get back to some writing and I'm also planning to buy myself a 'how to draw' book since I don't know how to. I'm going to get a USB dancepad as part of that 'getting fit' thing. 4. Wow, a lot of folks are in the same boat I'm in. I cut myself off from basically the internet world and outside world for a long time so you tend to forget.

Damn my bad self will power! 2. Make this project as AWESOME as I plan to! This is going to involve getting a part time job but hey I'll be making swords and doing EPIC photoshoots! (Can I post images from them onto here afterwards into the images thread d'ya think?) 3. Do not fall for a douche (that's just common sense! ) 4. GET MY FIRST TATTOO! A.k.a taking control of my life ^^ 5. WRITE!
