I must say I am a little curious about Undertale after it managed to rally to victory in GameFAQs best game ever contest pretty recently. I'm wondering what the fuss is about.

Err... Thanks for the welcome. Yeah, Undertale rocks, All the characters are awesome and funny. It's certainly not the greatest game ever made, but the small setting is a joy to traverse. To make a reference to ff9, you should look up a character called Undyne. Imagine if Freya and Beatrix did a dragon ball fusion and turned into an awesome fish girl. If it's on sale, I'd take a plunge.

I was big into fim until season 4. I didn't drop it in disgust or anything. I just kinda lost interest. Anything popular has it's fandom issues. Like old jrpg series' or up and coming indie titles.

Perhaps the the new ports will revitalize the ff9 and nezumi love a bit. /v/ is certainly blowing up about it today.

Agreed, I immediately fell in love with the everything in the game as I played through it. It's been so long since I felt a game experience like that. And with FF9 coming to PC, I feel like this year is one of the best! Who would you say is your favorite character?

Yea I saw the threads about it in /v/ myself, was secretely hoping it would turn into a Freya thread. It was very common for her to have threads back then, ah, I miss that. What chan or chans do you use by chance?

That's a really tough one. Who isn't lovable in Undertale? Besides Jerry? But I gotta go with Papyrus. The Great Papyrus! Cool friend and great spaghettiatore. Undertale was the first game in years that I would go to work and be excited to play when I got home. Or did you mean favorite ff9 character? Could that one should be a given.

There's a big Freya thread on /trash/ right now. In fact, an earlier one was what inspired me to start my story. There was plenty of freya on the couple threads that I visited. Not that I contributed or anything... >.> <.<

I usually faff about on /v/ and /trash/ sometimes /co/

/v/ is good too, /trash/...eh I browse there rarely, not alot, my pride often refuses me. /Co/ is great too, and O often browse /a/ and /tv/ to see what's hot. /ck/ because I loves dah fewds.

Wow, you seriously love Burmecians and Cleyrans don't ya? Even I'd have to include Zidane, Eiko and some of the other playable characters in a list of my faves. Fratley and Puck would likely be on it too though.

I heard about the port of FF9 from Meeps, and I guess this is the remake we wanted. I'm not sure if they'll add much to the game though other than perhaps some fancier graphics and achievements though. I likely won't get to try it though as I use a basic laptop and don't currently run Windows atm. I have a feeling this will keep me from being able to experience Undertale too.

Well, if you get a chance, give undertale a spin. or even just watch an lp of it. Game grumps, best friends, and omni all have pretty good playthroughs of it. if you're into that sort of thing.

I havent actually played ff9 in years. Never did ozma or the moogle thing. Just bought a nice physical copy too. but now, I might as well wait for the new hotness to release. Speaking of. If you have a smartphone or a tablet, you could maybe get it for that, Robshi.

I'm afraid I don't have a smartphone or tablet. I should probably update my phone since it is very old. Still, I don't really use my phone for much as it is. I also think I'll likely have a Wii U higher on my list of potential purchases. I really want to give Super Mario Maker a try. I guess I can watch a let's play of Undertale as see what all the fuss is about though.

If you get a wii u, get splatoon. That game is crack. You mentioned new content for the port earlier. And while the odds are very, very slim, I think there's a tiny possibility. This isn't a straight pc port like vii and viii. They have to do some work on the models and backgrounds to make it acceptable in higher resolutions. So someone could *possibly* add some bonus content like the gba ff dungeons. I guess the holy grail would be something starring freya or fratley. Or dare I say it? Burmecia rebuilding!

... But probably not.

Alas, I have no Wii U to play the Splatoons, but I've browsed the threads about it. I love the characters and shooting mechanics, who knew humanized bloops would be so cute??

They BETTER start adding more content while they have a chance or they will pay! OH WILL THEY PAY!

But yea, if they could add more story to Freya/Fratley or even Burmecia Rebuilding, I could die a happy mew. Not before I played the damn thing of course...
